By choosing lower impact materials and production techniques, we are reducing our ecological footprint.

To transition to a low-carbon future we rely on the annual third party audit to help us measure and reduce our emissions. Clear Technologies is a Climate Smart Alumni member.

We have an extensive recycling program for electronic components, paper, glass, tin, all plastics, styrofoam, wood, and metal scrap (steel, aluminum, copper) to divert material from landfills.

We buy in bulk to reduce packaging. We avoid products which are excessively packaged.

We complete a waste audit every year to estimate the amount of waste compared to the amount of recycling.

We use locally sourced products whenever possible.

We are a proud member of the Recycling Council of British Columbia.

As part of our maintenance we offer battery replacement in your system when it's required and provide you with free recycling.

We send batteries to  Nu-Life Industries, offering environmentally sound management of all types of batteries.

Clear Technologies is committed to maximizing energy efficiency and the use of green and renewable energy sources, and minimizing emissions and other impacts harmful to human health and the environment. We control energy consumption in our office and encourage sustainable transportation.

Clear Technologies is powered by Bullfrog, a company that provides 100% clean electricity.

We encourage bike commuting by having secure bike storage and showers for staff, and by providing a selection of bike tools that employees can borrow to make repairs and perform routine maintenance.

We use surface freight whenever possible.

Our service routes are planned with an aim for driving distance efficiency.

A strict no-idling policy is enforced for all company vehicles, and we politely encourage the various delivery vehicles that serve us to enforce this as well.

Our clean industry alliance program provides heavily discounted prices on our services to organizations that have a clear focus on sustainability.

We are able to offer some services free of charge, such as battery replacement and proper recycling of lead-acid batteries and electronic components.

To help our community we provide our services with zero mark-up for Non-For-Profit NGO-s.
